Band: Steel Prophet

On their early albums Steel Prophet plays simply excellent US-style power metal, so of course that means a fine blend of classic metal and thrash with progressive touches. Occasionally their Iron Maiden worship comes to the fore a little too much, particularly in regard to original singer Mythiasin's vocals, but Steel Prophet are not content with merely regurgitating what has gone before. With "Dark Hallucinations" the band really hit its stride however "Unseen" suffers badly from the internal turmoil that almost ended the band. The 2004 album featured an almost complete new line-up but the result was disjointed and since then Kachinsky has completely reworked the line-up once again.
