Band: Both Worlds

Location:
Status:

Honestly, I know very little about this bands carrer, but I know that this band was a sort of hardcore "Supergroup" consisting of members from some of the top hardcore bands in the genre. Featureing vocalist John Joseph (ex-Cro-Mags) and axeman A.J. Novello and drummer Pokey formerly of Leeway, they set out and recorded the indy EP "Beyond Zero Gravity" which was followed up by the amazing "Memory Rendered Visisble". Both Worlds took the agression and political stance of hardcore and meshed it with an almost alternative vibe. One of the stand out tracks from their last album "Hate Mantra" would incite a pit riot faster than any other bands in the genre. Fans of classic Cro-Mags material will probably shy away from this band but would be missing out on what I feel would be John Josephs best vocal performance ever. this band is Melodic, Agressive and has a knack for great songwriting...I hope that these guys continue with more material. Fans of the Hardcore scene should take note of this veteran supergroup.
