Necrophagia is an early US death metal band and regarded as one of the true pioneers of the style as it was to later evolve in the hands of Florida-based acts -- truly menacing vocals and gore-obsessed lyrical content. Killjoy dismantled the band shortly after the first album but Necrophagia reformed in the mid-90s and has continued ever since, maintaining a style and attitude much as before, with current membership spread around the globe!
