James Murphy has played in a lot of bands, most notably Obituary, Death, and Testament. He has recorded two solo CDs, which are mostly instrumental guitar-oriented metal. A nice variety of tunes can be heard on both CDs. James is currently recovering from having a tumor removed, so it is uknown what his future plans are.
