Nemesis are a progressive metal band from Hungary. Progressive as in semi-complex metal with keyboards. They border on power metal at times, but generally fall into the Dream Theater camp of prog. They released two CDs in Hungarian, then signed with Sensory Records to release English versions of those CDs. The songs were rearranged into two new CDs, "Eden?" and "Psychogeist", each containing tracks from "Nemesis" and "Abraxas" sung in English. After "Eden?" was released, the relationship between the band and label dissolved, and "Psychogeist" remained unreleased. In the meantime, they released another Hungarian CD "Terra Incognita" and recorded an English version of that as well.

In late 2005, they announced that they were signed to Magna Carta and would be releasing "Psychogeist" and an instrumental album under a new name "Age of Nemesis" in 2006. It is yet unknown if the English version of "Terra Incognita" will be released as well, but it seems likely. Look to the "Age of Nemesis" page for future updates.
