Band: Opposite Earth

Opposite Earth released one of the finer prog metal CDs of 1997, then began working on a follow-up disc before throwing in the towel. Their style didn't venture far from standard prog fare, but it somehow stood out as a top-notch release. I think the songwriting quality is the main element that set it apart. It's too bad they weren't able to finish the second disc before disbanding, as the demo samples I've heard sounded excellent.
