Andromeda plays progressive metal. While each musician is excellent in his own right, the guitarist Johan Reinholdz is a true virtuoso. Andromeda would be best described as half-way between Dream Theater and Spiral Architect, incorporating the more natural structures and melodies of DT with some of the chaos of SA. Really an excellent progressive metal band with a bright future ahead of them.
