Killswitch Engage is a newer band, founded by members of former metal bands in the Massachussets area. Mixing elements of hardcore and heavy metal, the band's debut CD is both ferociously heavy and at the same time melodic during parts. A strong debut CD from these guys. The singer on the debut album has since left, but Killswitch Engage still carries on with new singer, Howard Jones.
