At first look, this will seem like your average Beauty and the Beast goth metal band. But take one listen and you will realize these guys set themselves apart. Of note, there is deathy and clean deep male vocals, plus female operatic, and very progressive song structures, and an overall dark atmosphere. As far as complexity goes, these guys are close to Dream Theater (circa Awake). Astronomicon was one of my favorite discs of last year.
As of just recently, they have departed with vocalist Julie, and no word on whether or not they will replace her.
