Play Dead are an uknown thrash band from Wisconsin. The debut, while suffering from horrible production, is actually quite good. They incorporate some more technical elements to good effect. The follow-up was rather disappointing as it is only like 15 minutes total and is much less interesting overall, but still a decent effort.
In January 2004, the band broke up unexpectedly. Several members are involved in new bands.
