Band: Prototype

Prototype formed in 1994, made up from several members of Psychosis. Releasing several demos, they have finally gotten a deal to distribute their first full-length album, Trinity. They are a progressive thrash band, very similar in style to Antithesis. They basically play the pseudo-technical thrash common to bay area bands, but with a more modern sounding production quality and a slightly more progressive approach. Tight, progressive musicianship and clean, but not overly-melodic, vocals are present.

Psychosis reformed in 2006, with no word yet on whether Prototype will continue separately.
