Dakrua sound a lot like After Forever, though the classical influence is slightly diminished and there is more focus on the metal aspects of the music. I've only heard Inner Wastelands, and it was excellent. I've heard that on Shifting Realities, the growling vocals were completely replaced with clean male vocals (similar to Braindance's approach). I will hopefully hear it soon and have a more accurate depiction of their current direction. Fans of bands like After Forever, Lacuna Coil, or Within Temptation should enjoy Dakrua.
