Attention Deficit is a jazz fusion trio with some fairly well-known metal musicians. While the debut never grabbed me when it was released, The Idiot King is definitely an excellent piece of fusion. This isn't metal at all, so don't expect that, but it is excellent.
I only include this band because of the members involved.
It seems that perhaps Attention Deficit has disbanded, with Tim Alexander back in Primus full-time and Alex focusing on his jazz trio.
