Darkness Remains are a young technical death metal band from West Viriginia of all places. There are some very cool riffs and solos abounding on this disc, and for the most part I enjoy it. I do not like blast beats, however, and there are times when they are utilized extensively. Despite being primarliy a technical death band, you can hear significant black metal influence in various sections. Fans of the more brutal technical death bands should feel right at home.
They seem to have disappeared.
