Living Sacrifice was one of the world's premier Christian metal bands and one that didn't let preachy lyrics get in the way of excellent music and songs. Their early sound was reminiscent of Slayer but they diversified with elements of death and hardcore; the last two albums are incredible technical extreme metal. Original guitarist Jason Truby is now in P.O.D. and Rocky Gray has joined Evanescence.
