Frameshift's debut came to my attention because James Labrie of Dream Theater provided the vocals. Basically, this is the album Dream Theater should've released in place of Train of Thought (though I do enjoy that CD to an extent as well). There are multiple throwbacks to early Dream Theater work, but the music overall is more in the vein of 70s prog rock bands. Prog fans should check these guys out.
