Band: Spawn

Location:
Status:

Ohio's Spawn played a solid brand of straight-up metal with a bit of groove thrown in. Ed Moore provides some of the most soulful, intense vocals I've heard in awhile (sorta like a more gutteral James Hetfield.) Aggressive, mean music with catchy choruses. I was saddened to hear that the band broke up to form 13 Faces, a more hardcore-based outfit (without Moore.)
