Band: Raunchy

Raunchy plays what Nuclear Blast calls "futuristic hybrid metal" a description also given to fellow countrymen and labelmates Mnemic. While Mnemic tends to blend aspects of bands like Fear Factory and Meshuggah, Raunchy tends to blend aspects of thrash, hardcore, emo, and even have some progressive moments. Like Soilwork and Mnemic, they do the thrash/death vocals to clean chorus's and vocalist Kasper Thomsen does them quite well. There second album, Confusion Bay, is excellent, showing the immense upside this band has.
