Formed in 1993 with a desire to play a technical thrash style similar to Deathrow, Ens Cogitans have since evolved into one of the more popular Russian metal bands (at least, according to their label. I dunno, I've never been to Russia).
What I've heard was decent, goth-tinged thrash with a little bit of progressiveness. The singing could use some help, but musically it's pretty interesting stuff.
The information is all taken from their website, and may not be 100% accurate. I'd love to get better info on them, if anyone knows it.
