Band: Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy is one of the best metal bands in circulation. Their early sound was brutal classic Swedish death metal but after the second album the line-up settled down into the well known Tägtgren/Hedlund/Szöke format that would record the next ten albums and become gradually more melodic while maintaining a distinctive thrash component. The Final Chapter was meant to be Hypocrisy's last album but the resultant tour was so successful that they decided to continue. Catch 22 disappointed many fans with its heavy groove style but the band returned to its signature sound afterwards.
