Band: Dokken

Often mis-represented as a 'hair-metal' band, Dokken was one of the prime metal acts on the LA circuit in the mid-80s. Featuring Don Dokken's soaring vocals and George Lynch's blistering guitar shred, the band established a name for itself with heavy but melodic material. Always troubled by internal disputes between Dokken and Lynch, the line-ups still managed a string of quality albums until the mid-90s. Since then the recording output has been less solid.
