Imperio was formed in 1996 following the departure of singer Christian Bertoncelli from Horcas. The band split-up in mid 2001 and Bertoncelli went to form the band 'Renacer'. Imperio was one of the most succesful bands in late 90's in Argentina and their split-up was a shocker. Imperio played european speed/power metal, the German way.
