Formed in 1996 by two Dawn Of Dreams members, they were originally called December and only released one demo under that name, in 1997. Later that year, drummer Reithrak left the band citing musical differences. The project was put on hold until 2001 when the band was reformed & their name changed to Tristwood. Their music has evolved from traditional Black Metal into a more unique mix that includes Industrial & Death Metal influences and has been labelled as "Apocalyptic Metal".
