While named 'Cerberus' in their beginning in 1998, they released two demos. In 2002 they changed to Thronar because they where often confused with other bands of the same name. Thronar labels their music as "Battle Metal", that's pretty accurate if you ask me. This is like Amon Amarth (viking heavyness and vocals) meets Finntroll (folky touch and sing-along catchyness). One of the best melodic viking heavy/black metal rising acts, a must have, very catchy!
