Band: Ruffians

Melodic Heavy Metal band formed in the Bay Area in December 1983 as a trio. The band then called in their friend Dan Moura to be their bassist and to complete their line-up, they recruited none other than Carl Albert, who would later join and help shape the sound of Vicious Rumors after a brief stint in Villain. The group split up in 1989 but reunited in 2004 upon receiving an invitation to play in Germany's Bang Your Head Festival.

Ruffians original bassist Dan Moura passed away on Sunday July 23, 2006 after a long hard battle with several debilitating health problems.
