Founded in 1979 by Geoff Thorpe, the only constant through the years, Vicious Rumor plays classic american power metal and despite the frecuent line up changes they have managed to consistently release quality albums with their own style.
Though not a particularly technical or innovative band, IMO, they've never had the success they deserve during their career and were greatly affected by the tragic death of their vocalist in 1995. A worthwhile listen if you like classic heavy metal.
