Band: Poltergeist

Status:
A thrash metal quartet formed in 1985 out of the ashes of Carrion, Poltergeist's music was heavily influenced by german thrash, so much so, that their 1988 demo was produced by Schmier (from Destruction), who also supplied the backing vocals for all of their albums. Later on, Andre was cast as the singer for Destruction's own Cracked Brain album after rejecting their offer as a full time frontman. After splitting up in 1995, two of their members went on to form neo-thrash band Gurd.
