Band: Anihilated

Originally called Prospex, they were formed in 1980 and played punk rock. After the original singer Andy walked away during the recording of their first demo, Simon Cobb, who had a deeper voice, took over the vocals. At the same time Mark Beuchet came into the band, and the guitar playing style changed to a more riffy kind and the band started to evolve slowly from pure punk into punk/metal crossover, evident when listening to their 1986 EP. By the time of Ultimate Desecration they had fully become a thrash metal band. As a point of reference, their music IMO sound a bit like early Slayer. They disbanded in 1990, before completing their third full lenght album.

As of 2008 they are once again active and have released a new album in 2010.
