Best known as Brent Oberlin's brief home after the disbanding of Thought Industry, Cosmonaut play a brand of alterna-prog that should appeal to fans of Thought Industry's later works. The music here is quite a bit more straightforward than Thought Industry, but Oberlin's vocals are in fine form.
I include this band because of Oberlin's involvement, not because the music is metallic in any regard.
