Excellent British power metal band formed in 1999, with a sound heavily influenced by American bands like (early) Queensryche, Crimson Glory and Fates Warning. There are progressive touches throughout their albums, but they make more emphasis on melodies and vocal work. Their first vocalist was heavily reminscent of Geoff Tate but they have replaced him with ex-Angel Witch singer Richie Wicks (who sounds more like Ralf Scheepers) for their latest release, which will be available next year and will be entitled The Hourglass Effect.
