The brainchild of Rob "Zombie" Cummings and Sean Yseult, White Zombie crossed dirty heavy metal with pop-laced industrial and horror movie theatrics and imagery to create a very successful combination. La Sexorcisto got them noticed but it was the follow-up Astro Creep that caused them to score big. An album of remixes followed and then Zombie split up the band for a solo career.
