Originally called Quaternion, Aeolus is a Dutch band with a very unique and individual style that I can only describe as prog metal with dashes of nu-metal, neo-prog and symphonic rock. There are clear nods to band like Marillion, Genesis, Rush and IQ and also influences from the Satriani/Vai school of metal. Their first album is a very solid effort.
