Band: Death Angel

Death Angel began as a traditional-style metal band but when the thrash boom hit, they went with it. The first album was thrash along early Bay Area lines but later recordings saw them introducing other influences; Death Angel was a very mature band considering almost all members were still teenagers at the time they first split. A one-off reunion in 2002 led to a full-blown reformation with the resulant album taking up where Act III left off in terms of maturity and diversity.
