In a little over a year Exit Wounds have emerged from the burgeoning Melbourne metal and hardcore scenes to establish themselves amongst the country's most promising metal acts. Following an amazing 2005, Exit Wounds took the early part of 2006 to piece together their debut EP entitled RETURN FIRE.

Mixed and engineered by dual aria nominated producer/engineer "dw" Norton at the nationally renowned Backbeach Studios, RETURN FIRE follows highly on the heels of the band's successfully received three track demo – of which over 2000 copies were distributed both locally and internationally. The band has pulled out all stops on this debut, showcasing crunching melodic riffs, blazing solos, abrasive vocals and powerhouse up-tempo drumming. RETURN FIRE is a testament to a band at the forefront of modern heavy music.
