Considered by most to be one of the leading forces on the French Prog Metal scene, Achard's albums feature technically complex music and brilliant guitar work. His compositions vary a great deal between albums, his earlier work leans towards prog/technical metal, while his latest releases are more jazz/fusion oriented.
Beside his solo work, Achard plays on Mike Terrana's Taboo Voodoo and he's currently touring as part of a Jazz trio.
