The Red Shore played technical deathcore and were quickly making a name for themselves on the Australian metal scene when, while on tour, their van crashed on December 19, 2007 and 22-year old Damian Morris was killed. The rest of the group were also extensively injured. The Red Shore has since announced it plans to continue. The 2008 release is rather more in the modern death metal style, with three tracks featuring Morris' vocals and an array of guests.
