Eye Hate God play drug-crazed, heavily distorted and feedback-laden New Orleans style metal. Sometimes sounding like a jam session between a completely stoned Tony Iommi and a vocalist straight out of a hospital for the seriously mentally ill Eye Hate God are certainly no easy listening affair. They sound totally sick, fucked-up and broken, especially on the aptly titled "Dopesick". "Confederacy of Ruined Lives" is a bit more focussed, better produced and slightly easier to digest and might be a good starting point to check them out.
