Band: Gillan

If you like Gillan, you should also check out: Deep Purple

Location:
Status:

After leaving Deep Purple and recording a couple of albums of jazz fusion as the Ian Gillan Band, Gillan then decided on using just his surname for the next few years. The first album was progressive rock, but the albums after that heavied up a bit. Apart from Torme leaving to tour with Ozzy Osbourne the line-up remained stable until Gillan decided to end the group and join Black Sabbath.
