Band: Technocracy

After the breakup of Vio-Lence, guitarist Phil Demmel went on to form Technocracy.  On their debut, they play some fine industrial metal with hints of thrashiness (mostly in the guitars).  Their follow-up demo showed a shift in sound to be more akin to Tool than anything else.  Both releases had fine melodic vocals, with the occasional processed vocal part.

Sometime after the demo, the debut was re-released, and the band parted ways  (not sure on the order of those two events).  Demmel joined the reunited Vio-Lence, who then broke up when Demmel went to Machine Head full time.
