Band: Faith No More

Faith No More was one of the best and most interesting bands of their time. No two albums -- no two songs, in fact -- sound alike, and comparing one to another is futile. Their first two releases were basically heavy funk rock; when Patton joined the band became heavier and more bizarre. The Real Thing is FNM's most metallic album and Angel Dust the quirkiest with the later albums finding the right balance of both elements. Album of the Year was perhaps their weakest moment and shortly after it was released they split up.

Faith No More announced a reformation in February 2009.
