Dynamic Lights are a good young prog band from Italy. Unlike many prog bands, they don't have that jam session feel to their music. It's all technically intricate, just not pretentious. The vocalist is good, managing not to sound like a glam singer, but still singing in a clean melodic voice. Definitely recommended to fans of prog metal.
After a long delay, Shape was finally released in 2005. I have yet to hear it, but it has received favorable reviews from the prog community.
