Green Carnation are possibly the most difficult band to describe that I've ever heard. The best way to describe them, IMO, is that they combine elements of In the Woods, Opeth, and Neurosis with some bits of classical music. It's really something that must be heard to be appreciated. Excellent stuff, highly recommended.

Beginning with A Blessing In Disguise, Green Carnation shifted their sound into a melodic hard rock sound that borders on prog. Good stuff, but far removed from their older material.
