Band: Illogicist

Illogicist are one of the best up-and-coming technical death metal bands I've heard. The only thing against them right now is lack of material (each EP has only 3 songs), but they more than make up for that in quality. I'd say Illogicist, along with Uncrossed and Alarum, represent the future of tech death. Maybe it's the increased jazz influence in the material that strikes me, but IMO these guys are better than veteran acts like Martyr and Theory in Practice.
