Labryinth are one of the better European power metal bands, IMO. They still have lots of cheesy lyrics, super-clean melodic vocals, anthemic dual guitar displays, and pounding double bass that never seems to stop, but they do intersperse it with some more interesting moments. Of course, this is based entirely on "Return to Heaven Denied" as I haven't heard their other works.
