Band: Lacuna Coil

Lacuna Coil's first few releases drew easy comparisons to The Gathering but since then both bands have moved apart. The earlier CDs, particularly the first two, were almost spoiled by Ferro's grim vocals that never quite came off but since he's dispensed with that style and Scabbia has come to the fore Lacuna Coil has become something quite special. Since Comalies the band has been heading in a distinctly mainstream direction.
