Band: Whiplash
Location:
Status:
Whiplash played fantastic old-school thrash in the vein of Exodus and Overkill but they never really rose about cult level despite a brief time on Roadrunner Records. By 1997 Whiplash had adopted a somewhat more melodic stance but the following year the original line-up was back together with a return to their former style. Tony Bono died from a heart attack on May 27, 2002 at age 38.
The band reformed in 2008.
