Band: Acid Bath

Acid Bath were part of the NOLA movement that also included Eyehategod and Crowbar, sludgy, bottom-feeding doom with hardcore vocals. Acid Bath's sound was somewhat more diverse and they possessed a lyrical obsession with maniacs that carried over to their album covers which featured paintings made by serial killers. Pitre was killed in a car accident with a drunk driver on January 23, 1997 and the band folded.
