Opinions:

Slough Feg have a unique brand of old-school metal with a lyrical focus on Celtic folklore (from which they derived their name), science fiction, and role-playing games. While this would sound silly, it actually works quite well.

Although they've had a few lineup changes, the latest incarnation seems to be gelling especially well, releasing the excellent "Traveller", a concept album based on a roleplaying game from the 70s.

In 2005, they shortened the band name to Slough Feg.
