Like so many other bands, Accept changed their sound once the whiff of major success came their way and the struggle to remain both commercially viable and relevant resulted in progressively patchier and more forgettable albums. 'Breaker' and 'Restless and Wild' are fantastic blends of very heavy early speed metal and power metal; 'Balls to the Wall' was still quite heavy but with a more polished, commercial sound and the albums following that are rather bland and non-descript.

Accept reformed for touring purposes in late 2004.
