Band: Negative

I was quite surprised when I came across "Negative" and I hadn't heard of them yet.  The band has two Finnish Gold Albums, singles, tons of touring; AND is getting ready to release their third full CD. 

They had kind of a slow start. Negative formed in 1998 and wasn't until 2002 they released their demo.  However; the CD "War Of Love" went gold almost platinum.  They also released the CD in four other countries.  For the band's second album  they added a keyboardist (Snack).  Shortly after the release of "Sweet & Deceitful" they signed a worldwide deal with "Roadrunner".

Jonne has an amazing voice; gritty and raw.  Negative reminds me of "Guns N' Roses" (early years) or "Aerosmith" (early years back in the 70's when they 1st came out).  They are also little like "Buck Cherry" except Jonne voice is in control more.

If you like any of those bands then definitely check them out.  They will "absolutely without a doubt be a band we are gonna hear more of.".
